SCORE offers low-cost business training workshops and seminars for both start-up and in-business entrepreneurs. Workshops and seminars are open to all U.S. citizens. Training topics range from: writing a business plan, to e-commerce, to marketing - depending on the current needs of our business community. Workshops also offer an opportunity to interact with other local small business owners. Essentials for Starting a New Business, Our Core Workshop
This workshop covers many of the important issues faced by entrepreneurs in both starting and operating a new business including: • Business Plans • Management • Marketing • Tax Considerations • Insurance • Funding Sources • Public Law • Record Keeping and • SBA Programs. It is normally held at our Albuquerque office on the third Friday of each month except August and December. Registration is from 8:15 AM to 8:45 AM. The workshop is from 8:45 AM to 4:00 PM, with a brief lunch break. Presenters are professionals who are currently active in their fields. They are:
